DREAM TO CHANGE THE WORLD: THE LIFE & LEGACY OF JOHN LA ROSE
The Dream To Change the World exhibition is the culminating event in the George Padmore Institute's five year HLF funded project to conserve and open up to the public the majority of John La Rose's personal archives. John La Rose (1927-2006) was a poet, essayist, publisher, film maker, trade unionist, cultural and political activist who belonged to a tradition of radical and revolutionary activism. His input has reverberated across continents and remains pertinent.
The exhibition is open from 22 May to 29 August at Islington Museum
