The French Cashew Tree: Allister Bain's new memoir

The GPI invites you to a public reading and discussion with the actor and author Allister Bain (Parrain Thorance) to launch his new memoir The French Cashew Tree.

Starting with his early years growing up in Grenada, The French Cashew Tree tells of how young Parrain observed the world sitting under his favourite cashew tree and skilfuly depicts Bain's culture, environment and the people who shaped his life.

Join us for what will be a stimulating evening of reading, sharing of Caribbean memories and experiences of the world of entertainment by this veteran of the performing arts.
