Fund-raising Christmas Lunch

Last Sunday saw another successful GPI fund-raising lunch.  At least 100 guests gathered to catch up on each other's news and to tuck into salt-fish and akee, jerk chicken and lots more from Geoffrey's list of delicious Caribbean dishes. 

This year, to keep us warm, we were also treated to some of Alexander the Great's fine calypso songs. Upstairs and down in the bookshop, you could hear tapping feet and voices joining in the chorus. 

We raised over £1500 towards our work next year - so  we would like to send a huge thank you to each one of you for your support, for giving generously and to all those who helped us with putting on the event.
