The Trustees meet three times a year and between meetings of the Trustees the work is directed by the following specialist committees:

• Finance, Building and Management
• Education and Public Programmes
• Library and Archives (currently managing the Crossing Borders Archive Project)
• Website Development
• Health and Safety

These committees are made up of Trustees and other interested individuals who have expertise in the areas concerned.

The George Padmore Institute also relies on volunteers and supporters to carry out a great deal of our work behind the scenes.
