The GPI's creating a new website with InFact Digital Cooperative

Our new website is being created by an innovative organisation local to the George Padmore Institute (GPI) in Finsbury Park, London. InFact Digital Cooperative are focused on working with charities and non-profits. They are a small, diverse team who believe in the power of technology and design to act as a force for social good. As a cooperative, InFact Digital is owned by its employees, giving them the autonomy to work according to their own vision and values.

These goals closely reflect the mission and guiding principles of the GPI, which since 1991 has sought to document, safeguard and tell the stories of the diverse communities of Caribbean, African and Asian descent — all with the aim of building social cohesion.

As one element of the GPI’s Reaching New Generations project funded by an Arts Council National Lottery Project Grant, the website will bring our archive collections to new audiences alongside the other exciting aspects of the project, such as short films and the publication of two books for young children.
