Tribute to Jayne Cortez

The activist poet Jayne Cortez passed away on Friday 28th December 2012. Her passing constitutes a great and aching loss for family and friends around the world as exemplified in the words of the GPI's Chair Michael La Rose:

Autumn News

On Thursday 20th September, the film maker Nosa Igbinedion interviewed and filmed Janice Durham, Kate Duncan, Sarah Garrod, Sarita Mamseri and Nicole-Rachelle Moore for his film 'The Importance of Black History?'. The filming took place at the GPI and the film itself premieres on Tuesday 23rd October. More details to follow.
