Unending Journey Evolutions in Black British Activism

Thursday 2 August 2018 -  A fundraiser for the George Padmore Institute organised by the Peoples Film Club:

The 1960s were monumental for a new wave of black British activism. New political ideas and different forms of protest were burgeoning.

Who were some of those involved? What were thier hopes and thier politics? What are the legacies of that generation of activists?

Join us at Genesis Cinema for an evening of film, poetry and discussion - the screening of Dream to Change the World: A tribute to John La Rose, Jay Bernard's performance of the original work Something Said  and an intergenerational panel discussion.
