A visit from Stroud Green Primary School

On Friday 19 October we welcomed over 20 Year 5 students from Stroud Green Primary School as part of our ongoing outreach work.

Our Archivist Sarah Garrod and Administrator Nicole-Rachelle Moore split the party in two and led workshops on the Black Parents Movement and the Caribbean Artists Movement respectively. The children were encouraged to think about and discuss ideas around activism, art,  campaigning, communication, culture, history and identity. What followed was a flowering of creative pictures and posters (though our visitors were rather camera shy!) which both student groups fed back to each other toward the end of the session. A big thank you to Stroud Green Primary School for coming in and being curious and engaged! Come again!
