Standing Firm in Power and Pride: Celebrating the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Black Parents Movement

A 2-hour writing workshop led by Kat François, the talented author, poet, performer.

Date and Time: Saturday 1 November, 12 to 2pm

Venue: Marcus Garvey Library, Tottenham Green Leisure Centre, N15 4JA

Take part in a free creative writing workshop inspired by Black History Month theme ‘Standing Firm in Power and Pride’ and the George Padmore Institute’s archive collections.

Participants of all levels of writing ability are encouraged to take part. Develop your writing skills, respond creatively to stories of resilience, resistance and alliance.
